How is Rural Health Compass trying to address these challenges?
Rural Health Compass is building a space for individuals and organizations to find relevant rural health and policy information to help them advocate for their rural communities.
- Connection & Collaboration
To build connections and encourage collaboration between communities, countries and sectors in Europe. Many individuals, groups and organizations are already doing amazing work in gathering data, doing research, and implementing innovative solutions. RHC hopes to make it easier for you to find each other, learn from each other and work together on achieving better outcomes for your communities.
- Knowledge Translation
To find relevant knowledge and resources and make them more accessible for different audiences, from rural communities to policymakers. There are many different reports, documents and research papers that have been produced, it is important to extract relevant data and present it in a way that will help achieve the greatest impact. RHC aims to establish a repository of useful resources for you to use to be heard.
- Getting Rural on the Agenda
To build advocacy collaboratives and amplify the rural voice so that it is heard in the places where decisions are made – getting rural health and wellbeing on the agenda locally, nationally and regionally.
